Meet Steve:
Welcome, and thank you for taking this brave step towards understanding and healing. It takes immense courage to recognize when we need help navigating the complexities of our behaviors, emotions, and experiences. If you choose to work with me, I will be honored to accompany you on this journey. My approach is rooted in dignity, openness, and a deep commitment to listening without judgment. Together, we will explore the questions and challenges that have brought you here, working to uncover the answers that will guide you towards meaningful change and recovery.
My practice is dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and abuse. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can be, and I am here to support you in managing the anxiety, depression, and other emotional hurdles that often accompany them. Through a combination of sound meditation, guided imagery, and mindfulness practices, I will introduce you to powerful tools that can help you regain control and find peace. My approach is informed by Jungian theory and trauma-focused techniques, allowing me to offer specialized care to first responders, police officers, firefighters, and veterans who face unique mental and emotional challenges.
As a sound therapist, I utilize sound meditation and guided imagery as key components of our work together. These techniques, when combined with mindfulness practices and Jungian theory, create a holistic approach to therapy that addresses both the mind and body. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Inner Child work, Transactional Analysis, and Motivational Interviewing into our sessions. These methods are particularly effective in supporting recovery from substance use, managing anxiety related to Bipolar Disorder, ADD, and ADHD, and improving overall emotional well-being.
For couples seeking support, I offer guidance through conflict resolution theory to help navigate and heal relational challenges. Whether you are an individual seeking personal growth or a couple looking to strengthen your relationship, I am here to be a trusted resource on your path to recovery and wellness. Together, we will work towards developing new skills, solving problems, and creating lasting change. Your journey to mental and emotional well-being is important, and I am committed to helping you every step of the way.
