Meet Alana Goldstein Jacobs, LPC, MEd

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing as a Family Therapist, I often work with couples navigating challenges in their relationship, parents struggling with how to support their children to the best of their ability, and providing children and teens opportunities to explore their emotions.  
My goals are to support the whole family, whether that is a couple or individual in their emotional journey finding out what it means to experience emotional safety and security in attachment to those they love.  Clients find themselves feeling empowered to explore emotional vulnerability with their family and partners more comfortably after experiencing therapy. I have received training in Play Therapy and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy that provides the backbone of therapy together, which focuses on emotional connection, attachment, relationship patterns within the couple, family, and individuals.
