Carey DeLargy, LCSW
Located at 13975 Manchester Rd., Ste. 3, Ballwin, MO 63011
Meet Carey:
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 16 years and have worked with young adults and adults in a variety of settings. I have specialized in the area of intimate partner violence for most of my career, and I have also worked with individuals confronting severe and persistent mental illness.
I want to create a space for you that is compassionate, free of judgment and inspires change. I consider you the expert on your life and want to use the therapeutic process to help you overcome challenges, both big and small. Using a client-centered, strengths-based approach, I can assist you in developing new ways of viewing yourself and the world around you, as well as new coping strategies for when life throws you a curveball. I always provide trauma-informed care and my primary approaches in our sessions will include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Coaching, Mindfulness, Feminist Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I know firsthand that taking that initial step to start therapy can feel intimidating. I encourage you to make that call and I can ensure that you will be greeted with open arms.
